A photo archive that knows what is in the photo
Anzu DAM pulls agency feeds, photographers' cards and plain uploads into one archive. Metadata stays in the file, the licence stays with the photo, and an editor finds the shot before someone ingests it a second time.
What Anzu DAM solves
- Ingest without renaming — agency feeds, cards and uploads; duplicates are caught by checksum, not by filename
- IPTC and EXIF survive — author, agency, caption and date are read from the file and written back on export
- Search the way you look — by photographer, event, keyword or by usage rights
- Licences with an expiry — every photo records where and until when it may run; the system flags it when that lapses
- Crop once, publish everywhere — one original plus derived renditions for web, social and print
One original, many renditions
The original is never overwritten. Crops, thumbnails and social variants are derived renditions that can be regenerated at any time — nothing leaves the archive as a JPEG chewed through its fifth export.
Editors pick photos inside Anzu CMS. An article stores a reference to a rendition, not a copy of the file, so replacing a photo in the archive updates every place it runs.
Part of the Anzu platform
The DAM and the CMS share users, permissions and the same API. Deploy them together or one without the other.
